This Microsoft Access database recovery tool will recover the following data types from corrupt files:
- the original structure of previously used tables, including indexes and fields
- data from database tables
- all queries except those used in reports and forms
- all valid relations except the ones used for displaying data (that is, relations be-tween columns of the same table)
Damaged files are processed in 4 simple consecutive steps:
- Selection of a damaged file in the *.mdb or *.accdb format
- Preview of recoverable data and the contents of table columns
- Selection of a destination file the recovered data will be saved to
- Data saving and final report generation
Recovery Toolbox for Access automates most of the *.mdb file repair process, so the user's involvement is kept at a minimum. You will only need to specify the source Microsoft Access database file that was damaged and an output location/file that the recovered data will be saved to. The database recovery process is fully automated and does not require your assistance or involvement. Please bear in mind that this *.mdb repair tool does not modify the source file in any way and the work is done only in a copy of the damaged source file.
Damaged databases are processed in the following way:
- Source file analysis and data extraction: the program processes the data and iden-tifies the structure of system and user's tables. Once done, it extracts information about queries, relations and data that can be recovered. When saving recovered da-ta, Recovery Toolbox for Access creates a precise copy of the original document and uses it to save the data it managed to recover.
- Data analysis: when saving data recovered from the source file, the program re-stores the structure of the user's tables (indexes, field types and names), relations between tables and the structure of queries (any information used in them: condi-tions, table fields and tables themselves, as well relations between them). Besides, this is when data integrity is checked and the program log is updated with error messages, if any.
- Saving data: the program creates a new database file with a user-defined name. All relations, queries and tables in the new database are created on the basis of the data that was just recovered from the damaged file. Irrecoverable data that can be re-stored is not copied to the new file. All table data from the source file is copied to the output file.
This version of Microsoft Office Access mdb recovery program will not recover data from en-crypted files, since the internal structure of such files cannot be analyzed. However, password-protected unencrypted data can be recovered at the cost of losing passwords. This *.mdb file re-pair software does not recover modules, macros, pages, links and fields referring to third-party databases, as well as Access-specific features for displaying elements in the editor field and re-strictions on value selection.
These days, business information is a top-priority asset for any company - and the volume of processed business data steadily grows every year. As a rule, data in modern information systems is stored in databases of different formats.
In spite of the reliability of modern data centers and hardware in general, database files are still vulnerable to common data corruption incidents. A database can be damaged by errone-ous user's actions, unfinished network transmissions, malware and viruses, network and HDD failures, software bugs and a great many of other things. In the majority of cases, this results in database corruption and, consequently, complete or partial loss of crucial data. Such incidents can cause serious financial problems for any company, both in terms of an interrupted cash flow and recovery costs, since manual data recovery may be very time- and money-consuming.
The market has a lot to offer in terms of database management systems, but Microsoft Access, a standard component of Microsoft Office, has the largest market share. Given that MS Access database files can include report templates, data, forms, macros and queries, many appli-cations include files of this package only.
Another advantage of MS Access is that you don't need the program itself to work with its database files, since this format is supported by default by a great many of third-party applica-tions.
If you want to be able to efficiently restore data from damaged Microsoft Access files and are looking for an all-in-one Microsoft Access database repair tool, make sure you try Recovery Toolbox for Access. It's extremely easy to handle and it doesn't require a Master's in computer science - anyone can use it to recover data from damaged Access data-bases.
